Mother’s Day Gift Guide

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to drop those last minute hints or place those orders! I’ve made a list of a few things that are perfect for mama (and are on my wishlist too). The idea is to give you a jumping off point and some ideas to start. All of these items can be tweaked to fit the mama in your life or yourself!

First, the ever glamorous and beautiful handcrafted sunglasses from Tumbleweeds is the perfect accessory for mum. Wood veneer and made to order, she’ll never leave home without them! (Keep in mind, these sunnies take up to three weeks to be made… you may want to get on ordering now so they arrive as soon as possible!)

Next on the list, we have the Simple Linen Baby Sling in Maple from Sakura Bloom. I have one of these already, but I swear I’d be them all if I could! Perfect for babes and toddlers up to 35 lbs, these gorgeous slings make baby/toddler-wearing stylish and oh so comfortable. Prices start at $88 for linen and head upwards as you enter into double layer linens and gorgeous silks.

Jewelry. With a little one constantly clutching at necklaces, I have limited my accessorizing to rings. This ring is from the extremely talented designer, Nora Kogan. It is engraved with “mama” and finished off with a sweet diamond. Available is silver, gold, and platinum, this ring will look stunning and carry so much love wherever your mama goes.

Flowers always seem like a go-to, but why not switch it up a bit? Be it a terrarium, air plant, or cactus, why not give something that doesn’t end up in the trash bin the next week? This particular terrarium from includes everything you could possibly need to set up a glass oasis. Plus, it is eco-friendly and made from recycled materials. Let mum have a sweet taste of nature in any room of her choice.

I am a hoarder when it comes to lip care. Flavors, scents, scrubs, stains, gloss – you name it, I’ve got one. If you’ve never taken a blissful trip over to Terrain, now’s your chance. Whether you choose to grab their Rose & Vanilla Tinted Lip Balm or one of their other marvelous products, your mum will be pleased as punch.

In that same vein, lotions, body scrubs, and bath goodies are a great way for mum to relax and unwind. Pair it with a glass of wine, candles, and a bath for an aromatic escape from the hustle of everyday. Lush makes everything from bath bombs to shampoo bars! She’s sure to delight in whatever scent you choose. This is a great way to stay on budget for Mother’s Day. A few dollars for a bath bomb, a bottle of wine, and an uninterrupted hour can be worth more than gold.

There’s nothing quite like the smell of coffee in the morning. Pair that with breakfast and you’ll have her waking up in morning bliss. A homemade meal is always sweet, but depending on the little ones, it’s not always practical. I have it on good authority that Starbucks now serves delicious pastries in the morning! There’s nothing wrong with a chocolate croissant and a latte first thing in the morning.

Last, but not least, help her capture the moments of the day with an Instax camera. Reminiscent of polaroids, these trendy and sweet cameras fit easily into purses and diaper bags. Perfect for snapping moments you all enjoy on her special day.

Remember, these are not specifics, they’re ideas! You know your mom, your love, yourself, better than I do, though these are definitely on my wishlist! Have fun with shopping, but get it done quick! Mother’s Day is just around the corner.
