When I was a kid, I used to make a Humane Society Wish List and bring a wagon around to my neighbors houses asking if they would like to donate. Years later and I’m still trying to help. Little do people know, that the smallest thing such as a blanket can be such a wonderful thing to a homeless dog or cat in need.
I know it breaks my heart when I realize I can’t adopt every single dog and cat at the animal shelter, but collecting items to donate makes me feel a lot better.
I’ve gotten together a list of items that your local Humane Society would LOVE to see donated. A lot of these items can be found at the Dollar Store or you might even find a surplus of them at your own home that you don’t need.
